Mr. Czarnecki served as Chief of Staff in the Westchester County (NY) Department of Correction and is a past president of the NY State Probation Officers Association and the Middle Atlantic States Correctional Association (MASCA). He holds an M.A. in criminal justice from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice and an M.P.A. in public administration from Pace University. During his career in the public sector, he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Probation and Parole and National Chair of the Standing Committee on Professional Ethics of the American Correctional Association (ACA). Mr. Czarnecki has taught undergraduate and graduate-level courses in criminal justice, has authored several articles on probation and corrections, and has delivered presentations at many prestigious forums, including the International Conference on Crime & Justice in London.
